Projects

The following are samples of projects that have been designed, lead and involved directly by the Principal of GTA Design and Engineering with the supporting Team:

Designed and completed drawings for countless residential projects including additions, alternations and remodeling.
Completed several building permit applications including Committee of Adjustment applications for by-law and codes non-compliance.
Completed tens of commercial and retails projects, including restaurants, clinics, manufacturers, condominium buildings and others.
Completed countless heavy industrial and infrastructural projects including: • Piling activities for new refinery terminal and tank farm expansion. • Inspection and implemented a feasibility study for damaged bridge and recommendations. • Evaluation and analysis of existing damaged derrick structure that supports a flare stack. • Designed several circular platform structures for new and/or existing caustic towers. • Designed several projects involving earthwork, new development and drainage system. • Designed several projects involving roads, pavement, concrete and steel bridges. • Designed several steel structures for pipe-rack, equipment and other facilities. • Designed countless of foundations for horizontal vessels, pumps, brine tank and others • Evaluation, analysis & recommendations for several existing vertical vessel foundations. • Completed several lift study for various projects and provided recommendations. • Designed steel structures for blower bases, chillier platforms and dust collector tower. • Completed several projects in tank farm, such as tank foundation, dyke re-grading and containments. • Completed soil environmental assessment for contamination level. • Completed tens of designs for pile foundation (Concrete Piles, Steel Piles and Helical Screw Piles & Driven Piles). • Completed many civil designs to inspect and repair pipes in several road crossings. • Complete design and direct a project to replace the concrete block walls by steel frames while maintaining the existing roof of a huge industrial building as a part of blast resisting project. • Lead a project to install two modular buildings (pre-fabricated) with the required facilities to accommodate a shutdown team of 400 workers. • Completed design for several projects to install concrete fireproofing and pyocrete for new and existing steel structures. • Completed several designs for tanks containments. • Designed and directed the repairs of three industrial buildings for an office relocation project. • Completed a study and design for earth stability for a small earth-dam. • Completed inspections and issued tens of engineering reports for building damages, structures, foundations, road crossings, caustic buildings, and railway line with provided solutions.
